IN WATER

We join with the eminent Dutch multi media artist Madelon Hooykaas to conceive of a worldwide performance event.
Water is to be our basic metaphor. We are water and it gauges us. Life and fluidity. Drought and flood. Water is the essence of existence for all species. And the mechanism of extinction if we allow global warning to drown its balanced oceans. Pollution and preciousness seesaw across a fulcrum of human responsibility and awareness. That is the hinge we will influence with our project.

The ambition of this synchronised collective work is to show that individual awareness of global change can be expressed and considered through
poetic action and ritual event. These have always been the tools that human have used to understand and become part of the world around them. This can still be the case. Urban slums, uninhabited dessert and vast oceans have images and refuge inside the mind.

These collected works will become a catalyst to that place. Using the imagination to heal and reveal, to act as cause and a necessity
