Anet van de Elzen, lives and works in Amsterdam. She makes sculptures, performances, photographs and drawings. Besides her artist practise she also realises since 1992 performance festivals in the Netherlands and abroad. Nine years ago she invited Brian Catling as a curator for a series of performances, that is how Wolf In The Winter met and worked together for the first time. Anets work comes up from the subconsious and takes on a physical form, her intention being to create a direct and intense mode of communication. Her recent sculptures are designed for public spaces, other work is shown regularly in exhibitions. Her performances are shown in festivals around the world; Japan, South-Africa, U.S.A. as well as in different countries in Europe. She is co-founder and an active member of The Wolf in The Winter.
