Brian Catling is a poet, sculptor, performance artist and scholar. He has made solo exhibitions  and live work internationally for the last thirty years. Atmosphere, enigma and intrigue radiates from his work which is by fuelled by an obsessive dedication to the imaginary. He is currently making. large scale durational performed installations,  videos films, miniature egg tempera paintings and writing narrative fiction. He was the cofounder of the Wolf in the Winter. And is Professor of fine art at Oxford University.
